Terms of service

Last updated October 13, 2026

By creating a SharpRoute account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a sharpening business, you agree on its behalf.

The service

SharpRoute is a tool for recording the customer tooling your shop sharpens: customers, routes, tickets, tagged tools, the service and teeth replaced on each piece, and pickups and deliveries. It is not an invoicing or payment system, a service contract or a safety inspection of any blade: whether a blade is safe to run, and any agreement about a damaged, lost or mixed-up tool, is between you and your customer. Times-sharpened counts and wear flags come from what was entered and are a guide, not a judgment that a tool is safe or worn out. We aren't responsible for tools lost, damaged or mixed up, work recorded wrongly or not at all, or disputes between you and your customers or staff.

Your data

Your shop's records belong to you. You can export them at any time, and we'll send a copy on request. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep SharpRoute running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using SharpRoute at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
